Hello all,
After much indecison on my part I have purchased a brand new L39. Many thanks to all for the help and the invaluable information. I'm sorry to say that I have had the tractor for a couple of weeks and really haven't shared with you guys. Well lets just say I've been working it real hard. I've already got 30 hours on it and am simply amazed by how stout it is and the wonderful hydraulics on this thing. The shuttle shift takes getting a little used to it but I now like it just fine. Still a little nervous about jamming it into reverse or fwd without the clutch though.
The reason I went with the brand new L39 vs the L35 is for the increase in hydraulics. I have to say that i'm impressed. This little tractor can lift a full cube of brick no problem which is about 2300 lbs extended way out there as well as a cube of block with the top row taken off. A whole cube of block (90) is over 3000lbs again hanging way out there so I'm more than satisfied. As other people have noted it's a good thing the loader is not any more capable as it would be too much for the small frame it's attached too.
Long rambly post but I'm real happy with the L39 and thanks again everyone.
Tim
