L39
Hello all,

After much indecison on my part I have purchased a brand new L39. Many thanks to all for the help and the invaluable information. I'm sorry to say that I have had the tractor for a couple of weeks and really haven't shared with you guys. Well lets just say I've been working it real hard. I've already got 30 hours on it and am simply amazed by how stout it is and the wonderful hydraulics on this thing. The shuttle shift takes getting a little used to it but I now like it just fine. Still a little nervous about jamming it into reverse or fwd without the clutch though.

The reason I went with the brand new L39 vs the L35 is for the increase in hydraulics. I have to say that i'm impressed. This little tractor can lift a full cube of brick no problem which is about 2300 lbs extended way out there as well as a cube of block with the top row taken off. A whole cube of block (90) is over 3000lbs again hanging way out there so I'm more than satisfied. As other people have noted it's a good thing the loader is not any more capable as it would be too much for the small frame it's attached too.

Long rambly post but I'm real happy with the L39 and thanks again everyone.

Tim

Another picture of the L39 at work. The first one was taken right after pulling it home.

Enjoy that rig, we've got 120 hours on ours now with no complaints except we could use allot more traction tires than the R4's can provide.....

Thanks guys for the nice comments. What do you do skypup with your L39 you must use it for some business purpose? Landscaping? I'm thinking about getting a few signs made for pasture mowing, as I wouldn't mind doing that on Saturdays to make a little extra change to buy more attachments. Anyone know how to charge for that kinda thing. I will have to do some research.

Thanks again Guys,
Tim

I am reasonably pleased with the R4's They are not as bad as i was concerneded about when I dove into the a mudhole. the cleats did not fill it.

We just work on our property with the L-39 and do some work now and then for my friends. In the last two years I've put almost 800 hours on our L-3130, 150 hrs on the ZD-21, and >120 hrs. on the L-39.....still have lots left to do. Looks like we may have a Tropical Storm hit here this weekend to start off the first week of Hurricane Season!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Thank God for Kubota hydraulic machinery, my back sure cannot handle it anymore! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
