I live at the end of a gravel road, which prior to me moving in wasn't maintained very well. I have a CT230 and an adjustable rear blade (Bobcat brand). Is there anything special I should know about when it comes to moving snow, besides to angle the blade? I'd afraid that since the road is gravel (and not concrete) that I'm going to be cutting into the gravel road when I'm moving snow with the 72 inch rear blade.

Is there anything I should know that will help when the first 4-6 inch snow rolls around?

Keep your top link short when going forward, or long when backing up, this will help make the blade least agressive cut.

You could also make some type of bracket on back of the blade at each end with an adjustable skid shoe to hold the blade up just off the rock, like a snow blade has, then pull the skids off or raise them for grading in the summer.

Don't set the blade all the way down. Not sure if your Bobcat has position control or not. If so, set just above ground surface and roll on. Leaves a thin layer of snow and prevents the gravel from being dug up.

It does have position control and has slide stop knob to set for the lever to come against to get same height each time. Take tractor and blade out on the drive before a snow and set it so you just skim over the rock.

Take a piece of pvc pipe. Slit in long ways and put over the blade edge. Fasten in the method of your choice and it'll keep the blade from digging.

plastic + cold = broken

For the first snow you can turn the blade around backwards and it won't dig in. After the driveway has frozen you shouldn't have any issues.

Flip your blade and drag it backwards will work just fine for snow and leaves the gravel in place I did that for alot of years.
