Best UTV for Leg Room?

Started looking at UTV's for my farm and am becoming initially alarmed that I may not fit comfortably in them. I'm 215# and 6'2" with most of the length in my legs. I've tried sitting in two brands (Polaris and Husqvarna) and legs are too long for them. I'm not looking for automobile comfort as I know I won't be sitting long in it, just getting from one side of my farm to the other.

Are these things designed for folks under 5'7"? I understand I haven't checked out the main players yet (Kubota, New Holland, Bobcat, etc.) but these dealers are more distant so a heads-up would be very helpful. All models seem to have non-adjustable bench seats and pedals, except for the NH Rustler, who's brochure mentions a bucket seats option that is adjustable "13 Ways". I would hope one of the thirteen is leg room, but there's no way to tell. My local NH dealer doesn't have any on the lot and few dealers are likely to have any with the bucket seat option. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Don't waste your time on the Kubota 500....I'm only 5'9" or so and I smack my legs just about every time I get in. :laughing:

drives very nice he big and tall seats in ok

Thanks, OhioFarmer. That puts me one step closer to checking out the NH, assuming I can find one with bucket seats.

Hey Dixie Dog! You ever sit in a Kubota 900 or 1100? I wonder how they stack up, legwise? They're certainly longer than the 500. Doesn't mean they put the extra length in the cab, though.

I tried one other ATV but can't remember the brand but it felt light and "tinny" to me compared to the Kubota. It also was half the price of the Kubota. I think the 900, 1100 and 1140 are the same size in the front seat area. The 500 is considerably smaller, I think.
One of those times when one has to go and try it for ones self.:thumbsup: Look around the neighborhood for one or ask a Kubota dealer who has one you can see.

I ended up getting a Kawasaki Teryx, but the JD XUV 620 that I demoed was the most comfortable ergonomically speaking. The 825 and 855 are equally comfy. I compared the Rhino, Teryx, Big Red, XUV, and a Cub Cadet. The Cub Cadet was second in ergonomics and leg room. I'm 6'0" and fat. :laughing:

everyone is different in what they consider roomy for sure test drive a lot of different brands for sure. Spend some time in them not just sitting in one on the dealer's floor. for me I ended up with a Kubota 900 I'm 6'1" and some might say portly. good luck
