I’m repainting my Ford 1910 and I’m wanting to know what the best high quality paint is
I tried using the rust oleum farm implement paint and it is junk it has very little strength against anything I’ll definitely look for the valspar paint"Best" is gonna be something urethane based like cars are painted with.
But for tractors and implements, I have had good luck with the valspar tractor and implement paint. Used to be sold at TSC but then TSC switched to Majic brand and it sucks.
Havent needed paint for a few years.....so dont know where to get it from. But If I were painting one today Id be looking for the valspar
We're there a bunch more? I comment this morning and just now back on....never saw any other postsWhat happened to all the other posts?![]()
I'll agree to disagree. Most paints are not that different from each other. Subtle differences. Application technique, like powdercoating makes more of a quality difference.
Maybe you were thinking of the other thread about Ford blue paint? What happened to all the other posts?![]()

Rust oleum farm implement paint
Has anyone used any Ford blue rust oleum farm implement paint I’m wanting to repaint my tractor and I’m wonder if it’s worth usingwww.tractorbynet.com
Get crazy and paint it a car color for the blue. Auto paint is of a higher quality. Have to agree with LD1 on how sucky the Majik colors are.I’m repainting my Ford 1910 and I’m wanting to know what the best high quality paint is
Wimbledon White! Classic stock color on the Ford pickups of 50 years ago, and probably on a lot of other Fords too.The Mustang color "Grabber Blue" with "Wimbledon White" would look great on that tractor.
Still in the Ford family of colors even if your tractor ends up looking like a Boss 429.
