Greetings BCS Folks,
I have a BCS 739 with a 26 inch tiller which I use to till 3000-4000 square feet of garden. I made a tiller depth adjustment wheel which works great for cultivating and working the plant material into the soil. But if there are high weeds or garden debris, the tiller turns into a giant spool of plant material which is very difficult to get off. Which would be the best mower to mulch up the weeds and garden plants before tilling? (I have a sickle bar which is excellent but not for this purpose.) The options appear to be: the 22" lawn mower, the 30" HD combo mower, the 26" bush hog. Can't afford a flail mower.
Thanks.
