I just finished mowing the front yard, years ago the original owners had a garden there.
It was plowed so it's not even, some depressions, etc. and I've worked on it for 43 years. I don't have a box blade but if I had one with rippers up or removed would that work if I put composted soil in to smooth it out better? I have a 7ft back blade for my 3038 tractor and I have swiveled blade backwards, dumped sand for paddock with loader bucket and it does a great job smoothing lot out...would that work for lawn? Should I also get a lawn roller (600# or so?)...there's one at my homeplace I could get but probably 3ft, 200#.
Thanks in advance!
