Start by visiting the dealers in your area. You'll get a good idea if you like them on not. Remember if the pricing is off by a few hundred, but you like the dealer, go for it. If pricing is everything to you, there's a internet Kubota dealer in NC, I think.
Me... When I was shopping I stopped by a bunch of Kubota dealer but I ended up with a Kioti from a dealer on this site. The reason wasn't because I didn't like the dealers or the price. My reason was because
BX24, when the FEL and BH were off, was no bigger then my current Sears riding mower. Then when I looked at a couple of slightly larger machines, they just didn't have the FEL capacity I wanted in that size (I needed something that could take standard QA).
Now, if I didn't have so much digging to do, I would have gone with the
BX24. It's perfect for landscaping, gardening and mowing. Not that it can't do more, but it would take more time.
