Benye 25 what is it worth

1987 year model 24 horsepower ...2WD .... All original..... Fair condition....... Probably less than 500 hrs. total use.

Are parts readily available?

The tractor cranks up and runs excellent



The brakes are little sticky

Benye made many if not most of the RHinos and their parts were being handled by a Farm Boy tractors in KY or TN. I dont' have any more info. I do have contacts at the benye factory in china but I would not consider parts to be readily available as small lot shipping is price prohibitive. Since this tractor is likely a 2 cylinder and only 2 wd I am guessing it is not going to be worth a whole lot. A new Jinma Farm PRo 3 cylinder 20HP 2wd can be bought for a little over 4000 with 2 year warranty. I'm thinking $ 1500 to 2000, and at that kind of money you could run it and dispose of it if something broke that could'nt be repaired. Just my opinion, others may disagree...

Even if only using for a light duty tractor for pulling a wagon, etc its worth at least 1000 to 1500 even with "questionable parts availbility" as previously stated. Don't let this deter you.
I've seen guys buy old American iron that had bad trans gears, etc for much, much more just to run a PTO generator periodically or to just pull a manure spreader when needed.
If you think you can use it and the price is right for you I say go for it. Its all about what you want it for.

Farmboys may in fact have the parts in stock, worse case is they have to come from china. Benye is still in business building tractors. I just don't think there are going to be lots of places to find parts here in the states. Chances are with 500 hours, anything made incorrectly would have already failed. Our shop forman has an old 50HP tractor we belive to be a shanghai, not may places to get parts, but it is till going and it over 15 years old.
