What is it about the Right side of the CK30HST? All these comments about the joy stick make me want to keep a repair kit on hand!!

And today, my knee bent/cracked the ignition key. Could there be a WORST place to put the ignition key? I silver soldered it back together, it works fine.

Those are all the complaints.

In preparation for the remnants of the hurricane up here in VA I spent four hours yesterday and today grading my 1/3 mi long steep dirt/gravel driveway, trying to make it crowned and making what might pass for ditches, offsetting the blade and tilting it. I'm learning, we'll see where the rain decides to go.

20 hours on the machine now. I love it. I'm going to add a radio, has anyone done that?

Your subject line is confusing. I have bumped that key twice with my knee and shut the engine of feach time. That has to be hard on it.

I replied to Highbeam yesterday - my fix for the key was to grind off the extra plastic on the key. Haven't had a problem since I got rid of those "wings".

I haven't knocked the key......................yet but I did pay particular attention to my dealer instructing me to enter/exit on the left side. Clothes catching on the joystick can not only damage it but can you imagine getting caught on that tripping me up resulting in an injury? That is motivation enough for me
