Well I did my 1st nasty deed to my new 2305. Somehow I bent the mower lift side (left side) of the 3pt hitch drag arm rod. Noticed it when it wouldn't slide to the right to remove the drag armand mower lift so I could put on the backhoe. I hammered it straight, mostly, and it doesn't bind now but sure would like to know what I did wrong.
I attached the I Match and then hooked up a Bush Hog Squealer 148 and tried it out. Just fine, then I tried a 2048L BB, just fine again. I raised and lowered the MMM a number of times, doesn't semm like that was the problem?? Any suggestions??????
When the 3pt is all the way up the Squealer isn't very high off the ground. A shorter top link would give me some uptilt. The top link that came with the tractor is 19" eye to eye completely screwed in. JD says that is the right one. Sure seems to me the link ought to give you some forward and reverse tilt not just reverse?? Anyone on this??
Anyone know the wheel bolt torque on a 2305? I know what your thinking but my manuals are currently in another state.
By the way, I am having a blast on MY JD!!
