Befco Cyclone 72" C50-RD6A Finish Mower

I have an oppotunity to pick up a Befco finish mower in like new condition for about 450.00. Its a 72" and looks to be in about new condition. I do not really need it, but it would be nice to cut the grass in a cab, and maybe use it in the woods area to get close to the trees where there is grass.

Does anyone know if these are good mowers? How much are they new? Will they fit an I-match?

I need to confirm that it is a C-50, and not a C-30. I dont think I want a C-30. C30's have an 11 guage deck, and c50's have an 8 guage deck.

I would buy it if its rear discharge. Not familiar with that brand but I have used side discharge units and hated the clumps of grass they put out. Rear discharge is much nicer, can mow both ways up against flower beds and driveways, and get up nice and close on both sides to obstacles.

I think I am overthinking this. But I just cannot pull the trigger on this. From what I have read this is the same as a JD 2072. For some reason I just cannot make up my mind. The price seems cheap!

My neighbor has a 7' Befco C-50 rear discharge.
Nice mower, works good.
