Rotary Cutter Befco bush hog...any opinions?

Local dealer has a Befco brand 48" bushhog that he says is "like new". They are asking $795. Seems a little high to me for a used piece of equipment, but I know nothing about them, so maybe that is a good price. Anyone here familiar with the Befco brand?

Also found a Howse that looks like new for. Asking price on it is $500. Seems to be mixed reviews on here regarding Howse. Although I had a 5' Howse when I had my 9N & my Massey.

Well the guy with the Howse dropped to $400 and I saw some pics of it. Looks to be in very good shape. No rust, no dents. I am leaning towards it0 We will see.

Dang..Howse sold before I could go look at it. Back to the search. May go take a look at the Befco.

In good shape for a good price never lasts long. :laughing: I've missed buying all sorts of attachments because I couldn't get there quick enough.

Yep. You're right crazyal. I have missed out on 2 $400 bush hogs in the last week. I am not sure I want to drop over $700 for a used brush hog. Although the salesman told me it doesnt even look like it has been on a tractor and I know it is a $1300 piece of equipment new. I am sure there is no warranty on the gearbox or anything. He also said it was sitting covered in weeds and they had forgot they even had it on the lot.
