I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Bd2G2 dozer that is leaking oil from steering clutch cylinder. I have a factory service manual which leads me to believe--1) I can remove steering clutch from dozer body withOUT removing final drive. 2) I must remove/ break BOTH tracks off in order to rotate steer clutch assembly into positon for removing bolts on steer clutch housing. Do these statements make sense?? What is best way to remove master pin in track? I have a Farmer's tool shop access not a Machine shop. Any help would be great, thanks ahead of time.

Wow am I late or what? Sorry for the delay but there is just not enough time in the day to check everything.

You don't have to remove the tracks just jack the unit up in the air so you can rotate the tracks with a floor jack. These Mitsubishi dozers are nice and easy to work on so you should have no major troubles. Contact me directly if you need more info or parts help.

Thanks for your help DarinRay.

I have not started the repair yet. Wintertime job.
Rotating the tracks allows access, thru chassis side to outboard bolts on steering clutch, is that right?

Appreciate your reply,
