I have an BCS 850 that is a great Machine until carb corn oil fowling.
I had a service shop clean it up and get ready for garden.
They called and said my clutch was stuck but did not know much about it.
I told them it was a cone clutch and put it in a vice to unstick and they looked up internet and found data.
PROBLEM: Got Machine back and the tractor clutch operates backwards ????
That is when clutch and safety lever is locked in -> Machine operates engaged when starting.
Release the clutch to engaged position and machine disengages.
Need to start in Neutral gear.
DEFINITION: When clutch lever compressed tractor gears engage,
clutch lever released to drive position - drive gear disengages.
Needed to use tractor anyway - no time to pull tractor apart
Now when the tractor is driving there is no PTO operation for tiller.
Is it possible to have the internal clutch levers backward??
This is a mystery I need to solve, squash vines starting to run and need to till between the rows now.
