BCs 605 and wheel horse splitter

Will an older troy bilt log splitter work on a BCS 605 which has a flat jaw/splined combo pto?

I forgot to mention that the troy bilt is a pto splitter made for the horse

you might want to get the bcs pto/hydraulic system working on your bcs if that's possible (not familiar with 605), and then adapt it to work on the troy bilt. It requires a speedup to make pto turn faster I believe, to make hydraulics work. They use this for the official BCS splitter from Wallenstein.

I once looked into doing this as well. I wasn't able to find documentation on troy built pto speed but one Craigslist seller I spoke with claimed 4000rpm, the bcs is 900rpm. I think the speed adapter is definitely needed

I wonder if the new troy bilt flex could be paired up with a bcs?
