Baxter Black

Yesterday I was flippin' through the channels when I came across the IPTV fund raiser. The show featured Baxter Black, the cowboy poet. This gentleman is a very good story teller and even my kids sat watching and laughing. I think I enjoyed the "Cowboy Wedding" the most.

If your public tv station is having their annual fund raiser, check to see if they are broadcasting this show, it is well worth your time.

PitBull, I've never seen Baxter Black and don't guess I've heard his "Cowboy Wedding" story, but I have his book, Cactus Tracks & Cowboy Philosophy, that is entertaining reading. He has several other books out, but I haven't seen them. Folks like him, and especially Patrick F. McManus, are my favorite authors.

He is a regular on NPR (National Public Radio). Never know when I'll hear him but always end up smiling when I do.

I agree with Andy, Baxter Black always puts a smile on my face too when he does his bits on NPR.
