Battery replcement

How do you remove the battery from a 3616 hst.

Unhook the (black) grounded terminal (-) first,
then unhook the red positive (+) terminal second.

When installing, connect positive (+) first.

....but I suspect you have a question abut something more specific? :confused3:

p.s. You also have to undo the 5 screws that hold the front grill on and remove the grill.

Ah, but the pretty sparks and language that can be heard when that wrench on the positive connection contacts ground when done first :dance1:

A wedding ring in there with the wrench also makes for interesting times.

Had a friend that almost lost the ring finger that way. His gold wedding band just vaporized. If the ring had been any thicker he would have lost his finger.
