Battery Access - Mahindra 2516

I need a new battery for my 2516.

Today I'm trying to figure out how to access the battery "compartment". I don't find any help in the tractor's manual.

Do I need to remove the grille and headlights? I see a couple of wing nuts under the hood at the front -- do I just loosen those and somehow pull the front of the machine off?

I don't have that model, but I have seen it done on YouTube...[ I have passionately been reading and looking at all 2516 stuff I can find ] Move grill guard forward, then the removal of those two wing nuts lets you remove the headlight assembly to access the battery. I am thinking of buying a 2516 HST to add to my fleet, but don't have on in my barn as we speak..... Good luck, Jerry...!!!!

It was one of those dealer videos of a guy extolling the virtues of the 2615, I tried finding it last night and the only one I could find was this dealer one that mentions it... I will still try to find the other one ..!!!!

Just undo the two thumb screws, tip the grill asmbly forward, twist/pop out the headlight wires/bulbs, and lift the whole grill assembly up and out. Easy.
