Morning, did some research and did not find anything specifically on this..............I have seen one mouse in my barn and want o get rid of it and keep all others out. Has anyone had any luck with the electronic pest repellents, or are they pretty useless? Should I just use the old fashioned methods? Thanks

Most non-lethal methods work for a while until the animal learns that they are harmless.

That is what some of the reviews say. I have sealed up any entrances and have a couple of the contained bait traps, I am also going to put dryer sheets in the ATV's and garden tractor. Supposedly this is a deterrent also.................

I don't think the repellents work very well, but the electric zappers definitely do work. I have tried the dryer sheets but they are only good for about 30 days.

Best method I have found for keeping them out of the barn is the 5 gallon water trap. Works great because it resets on its own. I also put moth balls in old nylons and place them strategically around the engine compartment of the tractor.

Thanks for that info...............

The most mouse-free barn I ever had was due to a combination of cats and snakes. Every year I would restack a couple tons of hay so it would feed out first, and I would never see a mouse.

Never seen one of those "noise repellant" devices work. I once saw a rat climb up the wall and sit on one of those devices and just look around. This was in a dining hall. Glue traps work.
