I've got two shrub rose bushes that I need to transplant. These were wedding presents from my wife's best friend so I MUST ensure that they survive. I want to get a root ball around 2' in diameter which is just too big for me to muscle around on a shovel. I'm thinking of wrapping the ball in burlap just like the nurseries do. Trouble is, I don't have a clue how to do it. Any suggestions? BTW, I'm OK if it doesn't include the tractor, I can always use the FEL to lift them into my truck afterwards /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Have you checked over on Lawnsite.com? Those guys are all landscapers and would probably know exactly what you need to do./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
