bad phone call, hurt kabota

got a call about the kubota. operator was using the root rake on the FEL. had a log twist up and came through the headlight, battery, and radiator. and possibly ripped the wires out coming off the battery. I will stop by after work today and check it out. good news points are, Its not my tractor, the owner has money from just getting property logged, and the owners son who was operating it did not get hurt. bad news points are, I will either have to fix it, or haul it to repair shop, my buddy the owner is several states away, for work. The cosmetic parts and head light are really a non-issue, but I might try and build a brush gaurd !!

Did he have insurance through KATC as they fix it less $250 deductable?

KATC is the Kabota Insurance Company, but they insure any farm item..any brand as I have JD, WR Long, Polaris and Frontier.

you know what would be fun, if a guy had a newer tractor that wasn't ruining very good, say a newish Kubota, then bought the same model brand new. Then had the old one completely flattened just so its barely recognizable. Insure the new one and the next day have the insurance guy come and look at a little issue with your tractor.

Show him the flattened one and tell him, "Oops, i let the wife drive it". After he revives slap him on the back and offer him lunch and tell him what a great since of humor you have:laughing:

just get any old tractor off of CL and throw some paint on it to match and have the guys who crush cars Flatten it like a pancake and I'd bet niether you or I could hold a straight face as the adjuster was trying to fiqure what happened !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damage is not all that bad. tractor is a L2900, needs new battery, cable end on positive wire and Hopefuly I can glue the radiator back together.
