Our new Kubota came with a backup beeper...maybe most of them do. The first time I heard it was when the dealer backed the tractor off of the trailer, so my guess is that it wasn't connected when we test drove the tractor at the dealership.

Of course I promptly disconnected the thing - can't see any reason for it at our place.

Anyway, my question is...Does anyone ever leave that bu beeper connected? If not, could the unused beep be used for something else? Maybe as a parking brake warning device?

Perhaps the backing up audible warning device has been used on tractors for a while, but I've not heard (pardon the pun) of it till now...I could see in some instances/applications it would be good to have.
