Backhoe bucket/ripper compatibility

I have a LB2105 backhoe on my MT342. I have a LOT of stumps to clear (72 acres woodland and need to clear a couple acres over time). Best I can tell LS does not make a ripper. I can always get the dimensions from my bucket and weld one up, but I have too many things on the fire as it is. I was looking at the one from bxpanded, but the only options are Kubota and JD…

I've wondered this as well.

I figured if I can get someone to give me the dimensions of the pins & spacing I could see if it matches my backhoe; I'd love to have a ripper for the same purpose, though I've only got about one acre that I'd like stumps gone from (and scrub oak don't come out easily)... but a ripper would also be useful here in the summer time to bust through the really hard clay at the surface.

I wouldn't mind building one if my welder could handle thicker metal, but I'm unlikely to need such a welder for much else for a while so that would be a really expensive ripper.

I suspect you'd want to get their quick attach as well; I can imagine using the ripper for a bit, swap to a bucket to clean it out, then rip, bucket, repeat.

I reached out to BXpanded before I bought one for my LB1105. They told me to order the John Deere one. You may want to reach out to confirm. They were pretty helpful and quick to reply.

As for use, it definitely has its place. I find it pretty helpful on the super thick roots that I run in to. I ended up buying a 9" bucket (has a 24" before) from the local dealer and primarily use this as switching is a pain. Been working on clearing 2 acres of mature pine and semi-mature sweetgum.

Unfortunately their QA is not compatible. Went back and forth on it with them and they said they plan to offer a QA for LS machines, but have no idea what the timeframe is.

I have a Woods backhoe for my tractor. I also needed a ripper tooth to assist in removing stumps. I reached out to Michigan Iron and Equipment for a quote on a custom tooth. They were very quick to respond and can make the pin holes in just about any size/spacing.

In the end, I found a small bucket for a different backhoe at an auction. I won it for $30. Put another hundred into materials and remade the mount for my backhoe. Its not a ripper tooth, but it does better than my 24in bucket at removing stumps. And cost much less.
