backhoe attachment on skidder

we're in the process of trying to fit a regular size john deere backhoe attachment onto the back of my fathers 230 timberjack skidder. the problem that i need some ideas on how to attach the hoe so that it can be detached easily and still use the skidder. i'm guessing that the hoe would be between 1 and 2 ton so the anchoring needs to be strong. i was thinking of mounting it like a regular hoe would with the hooks that simply slide down onto pins and then pin it at the top too. i just would like any ideas before we start building it and realize we forgot something

I would suggest a good place to start would be to check out some smaller tractors with backhoes and duplicate their mount on a larger scale.

Also I recommend plenty of extra hydraulic hose length so the hydraulics can be used to adjust the hoe to facilitate mounting and dismounting on the tractor.

Here's my homemade quick attach subframe. You might be able to scale it up a little. The basic idea is that when I raise the hoe into position, it hooks into place and aligns the pin holes.
