Very nice thumb!
I had looked into a Bradco thumb for my 509 but the price I was quoted from a dealer really blew me away.
May I ask what you paid and what dealer you got it at?
You can PM me if you want.
Thanks!
Looks good! I really want a BH /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.
So is your dog making sure the rock does not get away /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif or does your dog hate tractors? Mine sure as heck do.
I would also like to know the price of that. Be careful with wording as what bradco normally calls their thumb has a hydraulic cylinder. This is probably why the price you were quoted was so high. My mahindra dealer could not find the part # for this so I will be getting it direct from bradco.
Ok, found it. What was in the picture above this site calls a Knuckle Arm. I don't know why they didn't call it a thumb. This can't cost very much for the versatility the tool adds.
You are correct, Bradco calls it a knuckle arm.
The quote I got was for the non-hydraulic, around $740 if I recall correctly, another $250 or $300 for hydro.
Expensive but very handy.
Its on my want list. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I haven't checked the price yet but I live about 20 minutes away from bradco so I will probably be heading by there soon. My 511 and 6500 mahindra are being delivered Saturday so I haven't even had the chance to use it yet.
That seems really expensive for such a small piece. I hope it is cheaper through bradco. It looks like the only difference between the hydraulic and the knuckle arm is the cylinder and control, and that looks like something you could add after the fact.
If it is really that much I would rather put the money into a FEL grapple that could be used while moving.
