Well not having a good morning.. The frame where it attaches to rear housing has 4 bolts holding the back hoe frame in place... They were coming loose once and a while and I'v been keeping up keeping them tight.. .More than one was loose :( and one broke off..
First I drilled a hole in the center of what was left inside the housing and tried an "easy out".. No go..Next was drill it as big as I could and try to peal the threads out.. Nope,,,
Son was over so I sent him out after a "Heli Coil" set ... I sure hope I don't mess this up... If I can get the coil in I'm going to Red Lock tight them,, I will never take the frame off,,

Its a bit late now but i find welding a nut on the sheared bolt can work well

also a spring washer may stop it from coming loose and give you an easier task if you do need to remove it

Remember never is a very long time:)

Thanks Fitit,,, but the bolt was inside a bit and no way to weld on to it,, It did have lock washers on it too.. Instead of the lock tight I might tack weld the head of the bolt to the frame ?? What do you think??? This way all I'd need to do is cut the weld...

If you go down the weld route cut a piece of plate and push it against the flat of the bolt and weld that down or drill and tap a bolt through it to hold it in place that would stop the bolt from running loose

Then once you remove it you won't damage the head of the bolt
