Iseki 2140
On the back of my back of my Iseki I have a back actor/hoe that was made by Polymark (sussex) ltd, in the UK. The tractor has only just achieved 200 hours, so the back actor will be less and the tractor came with a rotavator.

Anyway, looking around it over the weekend as I was doing some maintenance checks on it, I noticed someone had done some welding (noticed by fresh non standard paint) on the top link where the main boom/back actor arm joins on to the main frame/assembly. Perhaps this is a weak spot that other owners should watch out for?

Slightly different topic...
I've been looking around the net today to try and find details of the make of hydraulic valve chest used (no luck so far). It would appear Polymark are no longer trading as they seem to have been taken over by the lawnmower company called Haytor.

If anyone can help on identifying the valve chest, it will be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Thank,
I'll tak a close look.
Min is very loose there and at the left/right swing arm pivot points.

As for hydraulic controls,
Mine are the older (not joystick) type.
They are working but very worn.
I've been thinking of converting to Joystick type control.
I think the below will work.

Portable Generators, Pressure Washers, Power Tools, Welders | Northern Tool + Equipment
search for
Brand Hydraulics

Brand Hydraulics 2 Work Station Kit — Spring Center, Tandem Center with Joystick Handle | Control Valves| Northern Tool + Equipment

Brand Hydraulics 2 Work Station Kit — 3-Position Detent, Tandem Center Spooled with Joystick Handle | Control Valves| Northern Tool + Equipment

This is a gang-able control
so suggest getting an exta section an dadd to the end
in case you later want to add a thumb, post hole drill or logspitter.....

Brand Hydraulics Spring Centered Work Section, Model# 20BFT4SB | Control Valve Accessories| Northern Tool + Equipment

Marcle,

Please explain the words valve chest.

Apparently, is a hyd valve from looking at some pictures.

It could be called a valve bank.

I even thought it could be a hyd tank.

I don't believe we use that expression over here.

Hi JJ

Valve chest = Valve block - assembly containing valves activated by levers or electrical coils or even pneumatic cylinders.

Hi Tim and welcome.

Are you in Cheshire UK as in North Wales boarders? If so I have the same machine as Dave, since your not a million miles away, you could visit to take all the dimensions you may need.

Most of the time... I run by the phrase 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Having had several diggers of various sizes over the years, the multi levers are a bit old hat compared to the two levers found on the like of JCB's. Once you've been using them for a while you quickly get used to them. However compared to all the other multi lever diggers I've used, my Polymark digger had been miss plumbed on some levers as they were the opposite hand to previous machines, but simply rectified by swapping the flow and returns around so now when pulling on the levers the bucket comes towards you.

On the price of valves, they're an awful lot cheaper in the states, than over here in the UK.

Tim,
Both Macle and I have TX2140/TX2160 with Polymark Beaver Ltd.
Front End Loader (FEL) and Backhoe (rear digger).
As Marcle said He's at least on the same continent as you.
I'm glad to talk pix and measurements.

Clarification when you say "loader arm fit"
you mean were the FEL pivots on the mounts or
were the FEL subframe mount to the under chassis frame.

The whole thing is attached to the subframes with Clevis Pins.

Dave

Hi Dave

Clarification (ie) The Loader Arm is what im relating to, my tractor has got the sub frame fastened to it, but the guy I bought it from had scrapped the loader arms, bucket & rams. I just need if possible:

1) Measurments of the length of the arm?, and what is the size of the box section it is made of?.

2) Measurments of the length of the ram?

3) If you have any pictures or could take some pictures so i can work from that.. I would be most grateful.. You can email pictures and measurments to: joycehughes1956@hotmail.co.uk

Any problems please feel in contacting me on mobile: 07955613896

Kind Regards

Tim
