this is just a "check" for someone searching regarding low power output. I had a situation where I couldn't pull 8 hp PTO and the engine rpms wouldn't go over 2000 with that load. It was a new-to-me tractor, so I thought maybe I had bought into a worn out engine problem. Turns out that it was simply the jet cock/air bleeder valve left open.
