What's that deal with the recall of the seat used on the B7610, and can I still get a free or subsidized replacement? I just got an '05 B7610 with 127 hours on it (did the replacement need to be done before a certain time/hour?).

Thanks,
Jay

I don't know if the recall has expired or not but I ordered a seat from Messicks. It cost $100 + s&h $116 for my B2710. I thought that was a pretty good deal :D

I think there is a one year limit, Don't know about the hours, but GET the seat upgrade, You'll wonder how Kubota ever put the original on the machine....

I paid 25 for mine, Dealer still replaced mine at 13 months..

There was never a recall. They was an oppertinuity for dealers to order seats at a reduce price, some did, some did not. Once those where gone, they where gone at that price. Now we can still get that same seat under a wholegoods number for about $99. Once they stop with that and it goes to parts availability only you'll pay $290 for it.

Maybe not an official "recall" but there was some direction from Kubota regarding the change in the form of this PIB (Product Improvement Bulletin) issued in May of 2007.
