Tractor
Kubota B7610
I have a B7610 4X4 HST with the front axle leak. I have read a few posts on this, but has anyone fixed one yet? I don't have a service manual right now. Not sure how it comes apart.
Also, when I first start the tractor, everything sounds normal. After about a minute, I start to hear an extra "rattle" from the clutch area. The tractor is just sitting running, no pto or anything else. If I depress the clutch pedal, the extra noise stops, and it returns when I let out on the clutch. The tractor operates fine, just has the noise. Similar to a pilot bearing noise on a truck.
Thanks
Sammy

Good question! I noticed the same issue with my B2620. Maybe it's a "Kubota Thing":D

Are you experiencing the leak or noise or both?

Are you certain the leak is from the axle?
I chased one [leak] to a freeze type plug above the trans drive [search '7610 leak']

I repaired the leak on my front axle not too bad a job. Get a good pair of c ring pliers and take your time.

The leak is definitely from the axle on the left side.

No leaks here....just alot of whining especially in H. I think it's just the nature of the beast.

If it's HST it probably is. I'm talking more of a rattle noise.
