Well, the time has come for the 50hr. service of my new 7610. I currently have 49hrs. on it so I think the 50hr service will be happening this weekend.

Is there anything other than the below listed items that I need to do?

4 drain plugs to drain HST oil
HST oil filter
Engine Oil
Engine Oil Filter
Grease hydro pedal/etc.

Any screens, etc. that I need to worry about or is this pretty much it?

I have also replaced my 3pt linkage arms with the ones from a 2910 that so many of you have recommended. Much better setup. Thanks.

Thanks.

Curtis-

Why would you put the 2910 3pt hitch arms on the 7610?

I did not replace the actual lift arms. I replaced the sway bar linkage for the lift arms. The sway bar linkage from the 2910 is much better than the linkage from the 7610. It provides much more support for 3pt. mounted implements.

I think your 7610 is set up like my 2410 and that means you have 2 different hydro filters.

There is a screen by the hydraulic oil filter on the right side. It is attached to the "bolt" going through a banjo fitting.

Looks like you read my recent post about how B7610 hydraulic oil change quantity.

You appear to have it covered.

Hi Peter, Dave,

Peter, yes you are correct, there are two hydro filters on the 7610. I ordered all the parts this morning from tractorsmart.com and should be doing the change out sometime next week.

Dave thanks for the info on the screen. I am going to make sure and clean it as well.

I am also going to take the Mobile 1 Delvac synthetic that has been in there for the last 50hrs. and send it for an oil analysis. I am sure that it will show as still being excellent but we shall see. I will let anybody interested know the results. I changed the factory oil to synthetic as soon as the baby made it home.

Curtis -

I'm sure the synthetic stuff you have is a great quality - but IN CASE you have some sort of hydraulic / transmission problem during the warranty period - you may be nullifying it if the oil type is not factory-approved...

I just hit 110 hrs yesterday - did my oil & hydraulic change also @ 50 hrs & my hydro oil is still perfectly clear - I check it & engine oil before each use. While many folks have bemoaned the price of the Kubota Super UDT - I don't think anyone has complained that it's of low quality.

I'd recommend switching back to the Kubota Super UDT until you finish the warranty period - unless the dealer is supplying you with the synthetic.

***********

Another 50 Hr service tip: check the torque of your lugnuts! I haven't had a problem - but I've read a number of posts where folks have found a loose nut or two....I did find a loose bolt on my FEL after @ 15 hrs use...

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,

The Mobil 1 Delvac is synthetic engine oil. I am running Super UDT hydro oil. I guess I didn't make that clear but as far as the Delvac engine oil goes, the dealer says it is fully approved.

Ah-ha...ENGINE oil.... DOH-DOH-DOH! (in my best Homer Simpson voice) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Silly me...

OK then... well in any case you checked with the dealer & he approves - so you're all set to have fun @ 50 hrs! Just make sure you have a big enough drain pan for the multi-gallons of Super UDT in the HST!!

Cheers,

Dan
