B7510 Tire Pressure

Well, with all the issues I have with my B7510 tearing up my lawn, I am trying everything before tossing my arms up in disgust and trading it on a BX2350.

What tire pressure should I use on the front (and rear for that matter) tires while mowing? I keep them aired up when using the loader. Could that be a problem? As suggested by a fellow TBN'er on my other thread, I intend on checking the front-end alignment, too, but in 200 hours I've seen no tire wear indicating a problem there.

I don't know what tires you have, but on my B7500 with turf tires, I run the fronts at 22 psig and the rears at 20 psig per the Operator Manual. I only mark the lawn when wet or in tight turns around trees, etc.

I have mowed our three acres since 2010 with a B7510. Its rear diff has a tendency to drag on sharp corners, even in 2WD. I break up corners by shifting fore and aft with the HST and then it doesn't cause trouble with the turf. My Bolens G174 does not do that; neither did a BX I had here for a while.

The B7510 (no loader) has proven a great workhorse around our 115 acres, though, running the mower deck, chipper, 4' bush hog, and hydraulic trailer. Its first mechanical repair (1650 hours) came on the weekend when I discovered that the seat supports tack-welded to the fenders had worn free. I replaced the four tack welds with bolts and the seat safety switch no longer refused my wife permission to run the tractor.
