I have a B7500 and have no issues with using the joystick of the bucket, I have two assosiates that each have a B7510 with a bucket and they tell me that the float position doesn't engage or will not stay engaged. Is this a design issue or flaw from the B7500 to the B7510? Has anyone else heard of this?

Float is there. Remove the spool end cap and make sure nothing is loose or falls out or is crudded up. Also check the joystick for proper adjustment.

If everything checks out and it still doesn't engage then push harder. If it won't stay engaged then maybe the detent is worn. Any good hydraulic shop should be able to disassemble the valve and fix the problem.

In most cases removing the end cap and cleaning and adjusting the joystick will cure any problems.

Hey Mad

Been there done that. Removed the caps and sprayed good with W-D then coated with non-Ox grease.
No more troubles after a year so far.

I'd be lost removing snow without float.
