It is a 3pt. mount, which makes it a little more difficult to remove and install.
I'd think a 3PH mount would be simpler than the subframe mount. I have a Woods 6500, and I love it. It has the subframe and I think that makes a lot of sense for our smaller tractors. They need all the help they can get to handle a backhoe.
Anyway, the subframe still requires that you hook up to the 3PH top link as well as the 3PH attachment points on the bottom. In addition, you have to align and connect the front of the subframe to the bracket towards the front end of the tractor.
I don't use a MMM - the tractor just has a brush hog for mowing. The subframe would definately cause a problem for a MMM. I don't have any problem with ground clearance when the hoe is off. The bracket hangs down a bit, but not much below the front axle (which is close to where it is mounted). Haven't been dumb enough to get hung up on that little thing - yet /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif...
Backhoes are great fun. You'll have a nice time regardless of what you choose /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif...
