B7500 (ordered)
I am new to tractorbynet, but I have been reading a lot of your discussions. Very educational to say the least. I have ordered a B7500 with FEL, 60"MMM and a Bradco backhoe. The big question I have is if the Bradco backhoe will be to much for the B7500. I have a little over 3 acres and I am currently building a new home on the site. About 3/4 of it is level and the rest a little less than 45 degree slope. Does anyone have info on my questions with the backhoe or comments on the B7500 with my implements I have ordered. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hi YGuy, I believe that rymes /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Welcome to TBN. There is alot of information here you will find very helpful. You will also find that everyone here is more than willing to lend a helping hand in your decision making process. For we all have been there and will probably be there again. Whether it be in the buying process(tractor or implements) or in operations people here at TBN share their knowledge and experiences with each other which in turn saves a lot of trial and error. I think the B7500 with the bradco backhoe will be an awesome combination.

YGuy, The Bradco 3375 has a new BH subframe setup 4 point mount that appears not to interfere with the MMM. THey also make the 3PTH type too. I would suggest the 4 Point setup as it is much easier to R&R, plus you have a solid connection to the tractor.

The B7800 will be bit bigger and 30 vs 21HP and cost about $2K more if you are concerned about size. The 7500 though should do most everything that you want based on others feedback here on TBN.

I have ordered a 3265 w/a subframe mount and a 16" bucket. I was afraid the bigger hoe would be to heavy for the 7500.

Yguy, welcome to the forum and congrats on the new tractor. Sounds to me like you have a great combination coming. Glad to see you got the sub-frame mount and I agree that you bought the right size for your tractor. Do keep in mind that on the steep part of your property the backhoe adds a great deal of weight above the tractors center of gravity and caution on the slopes is called for. With as steep as you describe, traveling across the slope will be to much!!. Traveling up and down the slope will still require care. Go slow at first until you have a very good feel for things.

Don't mean to preach but I have some slopes like that and my B21 TLB that has caused some pucker factor a few times.

Thanks for the info on being top heavy. I was planning on mowing vertically at first until I get comfortable with the extra top weight of the backhoe. I thought that I may unhook the hoe until I actually needed it, but that may prove to be more of a challenge than I expect. Time will tell. Anyway I really appreciate the advice and any more would be greatful.
