I know it has been discussed before but I am attempting to research installing a hydraulic top link on my 2001 B7500. I have the "standard" loader valve with the 272 loader. Can anyone direct me to the thread that discussed this or offer research ideas. The local dealer is to expensive to work with. Oh yah, I have no experience working with hydraulics.
Thanks in advance,
Joe M.

Hey Joe,

Here is a link to a post I did a long time ago on putting a rear remote on my 7500. This is the first step you need to take.

Once you have the rear remote, it is just a matter of purchasing a hydraulic top link. I ended up just purchasing a plain old hydraulic cylinder rather than one that was designed as a top link. I did this for two reasons....1 I could not find a top link that was short enough for the 7500. At the time, they were all made for larger tractors and 2 - plain old cylinder was much cheaper.

Good luck - let me know if you have questions.
