Tractor
Kubota B7500
I have a B7500 and love this little tractor to death. Just helped my neighbor till his garden using my KingKutter. Awesome tiller. I have been here a little while. My question of the day is, Why don't I see a lot of post regarding this model? Was is it not popular or is it just a simple tractor with little problems?

Just wondering

Thanks and regards.

Operative word - little.

The smaller the B, the less it's mentioned. The small older B's, like your 7500 and my 7610 tend to pass away into obscurity. We can barely pull a plow and are underpowered for a 5 foot rotary cutter. We are one step up from a BX.

I bought my B7510 new in Feb 2007. I needed something more than a riding lawn mower to clean up the property my wife "had to have". The salesman talked me into a FEL. Never regretted that addition. I purchased a 48" finish mower with it. I have added a 60" land plane, fertilize distributor, 48" tiller, landscape rake, tool bar with bedders. I find it very useful to till gardens, but the ground clearance is not enough for cultivating a garden. I have the R4 tires and find I can go on yards without tearing them up like larger tractors or skid steers. I am amazed at the amount of work I can get done with this little machine. I can spread 12 yards of dirt in about an hour. It is now my 2nd tractor which I use to load material into my dump trailer. I use the newer B3200 for work at the customer site. It is a great "little" tractor, no doubt.

I had one, and used it for 8 years, I got a lot of good out of it, but just wanted "more" It was very reliable, never gave any trouble, worked well, what can I say, it is a smallish tractor. It that is what you want or need, you could do a lot worse.

I think it's all about power/weight/handling factored by the type of work to be performed. The smaller B's seem to fall somewhere between the lines, consequently getting less exposure. Legions of BX's in the burbs, and throngs of big boys in the 'agri-culture'.
You know what works for you.

About the only problems our B7500 has had have been operator error, so no reason to post much. We use it to till, clean stalls, move haywagons, mow (sometimes, the BX gets used more for that), clear snow, move dirt, rocks, etc

The B7510HST was my starter tractor in 2005 when I bought 10 acres (flat pasture). It was fine for 3 years while the house/outbuildings were constructed and mowing was the only real field chore. Then I decided to go into haying. Traded the 7510 for a new 2008 Mahindra 5525 (55 hp engine, 45 hp pto).

My 1st kubota was a new 2000, B7500 with the 302 loader. I had a curtis soft cab installed and worked that machine year round until i outgrew it and jumped up to a B3030. The B7500 is an awesome tractor, ask any dealer who sold them, they will tell you how great this model ran. If you search the forums you will find quite a bit on those B models!

I'm no expert but it seems to me that Kubota has a lot of tractors that are similar but are different models. Just because your particular model is not mentioned doesn't mean the information discussed on this forum is irrelevant. I have a B2400. Don't see it mentioned too much anymore but it's similar to yours. Anything that's discussed about a B7500 potentially would apply to my B2400 and vice versa.

As tractor get older they are less discussed. That's just the nature of the beast. About 5 years ago, I went to my dealer to buy an Kubota implement for my B2400. He made a comment something to the effect that my B2400 was old and almost obsolete. That struck me as odd. For me the tractor was still brand new. When I thought about it, I realized the dealer was right. My B2400 was about ten years old. Today its almost 16 years old and it's still new to me but old to everyone else. Because it is old, I don't expect it to be discussed as much as the newer models.

But I enjoy this forum because I'm always learning something new.

I have a B7610 and love it. It's much bigger and more capable than a BX, yet still fits in my garage without folding the ROPS. It does everything I have ever asked it to do, yet never feels too big on my 4 1/4 acre lot. One of the best purchases I have ever made.
