Hi All,
I have been faithfully greasing my B7500 mmm every 10 hours. I didnt read the manual very carefully on the locations for the fittings, and went about greasing the fittings. However one night I was bored and picked up the manual and noticed that I should have been greasing a fitting on the tension pulley. I didnt think that I just would have overlooked it, so I went to the garage and looked and much to my surprise NO zerk fitting on the pulley.
Went to the dealer and asked about, their first response was that if it wasnt there then wasnt supposed to be one there. I asked them to look it up just to check and they found there should be one on the pulley. Well I am at about 50 hours so I asked if the bearing could possibly be damaged due not being greased, answer "No, not at all...... 50 hours isnt much for a MMM."
My question is.. should I be concerned with the life of the bearing? and should I get them to replace it.
They are ordering the zerk fitting for me... a dollar or so...
Thanks
