The 2910 is 30hp and is the largest model in the current B series. It is the same physical size as the 2710, which is a step up in physical size from the 2410/7500, which is the size stepup from the BX. Your dealer should have them. Compare the specs.
I finish mow 3 acres and have another 8 that need various kinds of work. I, too, started shopping lawn tractors and bought a BX because it had all the "real tractor" features for a competitive price. What I didn't realize is HOW MUCH use I could get out of the real tractor features, aside from mowing. I was fixated on the mowing chores and didn't focus on all the other tasks a tractor could do (never having owned one or even thought about one).
The BX mowed great, but I grew frustrated by the weak hydraulics (loader and 3ph lift strength) and by the compromised 3ph geometry (even though it's cat 1 it is hard to hook up a lot of implements). I wanted something that could perform the lifting and pulling chores more powerfully.
I am very very pleased with the 2910. It is only slightly less maneverable than the BX for mowing. See my 9/27 post on the Post-Purchase Depression thread (which documents my repurchase decision in agonizing detail), where I compare the 2910 to the BX.
By the way, you should be able to get the BX loader for less than $2500. That's list price.
