Hey, I have the chance to buy Kubota B7100 198? with 700 original hours. The tractor is in very nice shape, the guy selling it is asking $2500, it has ag tires and chains on all wheels. Other then that there are no attatchments. What do you guys think of this price? Thanks

If you able take B7100 for quick spin and listen for strange noises also see if the steering tight...700 hours, that little mule barely broke in.

Very fair price...would that be gear or hst tranny?

I took it for a spin and it sounded very good, no odd sounds and the steering is pretty tight there is not much play in it at all. Its a geared transmission.

I think almost any tractor that will move under its own power will sell for $2,000 or more in my part of the country. I would think $2,500 for that tractor would be a good price, but whether it's worth it to you might depend on what you want to do with a tractor.

I had a B6100 for 20 years - great little tractor but I needed a larger tractor with FEL. I traded it in for $1800 about 2 years and the dealer was asking $2500. He sold for closer to $2000. My tractor was used on the Gulf Coast for most of its life so there was some rust on it.
