B7100 vs. B1700, B1550, B1750 3 Point Lift Capacity

I have a B7100HST. It has a pretty low lift capacity on the three point hitch, compared with most of the other B-series that I know of. 400 lbs.

As I consider upgrading it with power steering, I also am aware that some of these other models have similar (B1550), or more HP than my B7100, AND Power Steering. Do they also have more 3PH capacity?

What is the 3PH capacity of the B1550,B1750,and B1700?

If I read my manual correct, my bx1830 has 1200 lbs of 3pt lift.

I was at a dealer today. The brochure for the BX1850/2350/2650 shows 630ish lbs.

The B7410 is 1038lbs.

You're both right on the BX1830 lift because it differs depending on how far back of the lift links the weight is. At the lift links, my BX1860 lifts 1,200 lbs but only 670 lbs 2' back of the lift links. So, it depends on where the center of gravity is of whatever you're lifting. I believe Kubota gives both spec's - lift at the lift links and at 2' feet behind them.

The B7100 will lift more than 400lbs. The problem is that it becomes a 2 wheel tractor unless you use plenty of counter balance. When I used a 4ft brush cutter that weighed 435lbs behind my 7100, it was like having power steering!!! A trip up any hill would require me to drop the tail wheel down to keep front wheels on the ground. I didn't have any weights on the front as I didn't often use the heavier implements on the 3pt.

I can agree with that as have driven today with a 540# mower a long way to the rear of the lift links.

If I held the mower at just the right height I could get the front wheels to just about hover... new front weights are on the way!
