My B7100 was over heating so I replaced the head gasket and fan belt. Now my alternator/generator is locked up. Could I have the belt too tight? With wires disconnected it still will not turn.

It's not uncommon for the Kubota B7100 dynamo to have the bearings seise. To change it out remove the oil and engine rad. The dynamo itself is attached to a coolant flow housing. To get this off there will be one bolt that is difficult. Bending a combination wrench or using a ratchet combination works well. :D

I think Egon intended "remove coolant".
Be careful not to damage dynamo magnets if you need to use a puller on the front bearing.

Egon figured that removing the radiator would require all the coolant to be drained.

The Dynamo is intetegral with a coolant flow passage.:)
