Hi
I have an older B7100HST. I was wondering what each bolt was for on the attached pictures. Is bolt #1 on the axle used for checking the level and filling? What are #2 and #3 used for. Does bolt #1 fill the entire case? Should I be able to see the oil level inside. How much fluid does entire axle take? Thanks!!!

#1 is an oil fill port, #2 and #3 are bump stops for the front axle. They keep the axle from moving to far up or down as the axle articulates.

How much oil should be in there? Would you be able to see the oil in the fill port? Does that oil fill the entire differential and axle?

Thanks

You should have a fill to plug on the front or back of the housing....
You should not fill so full that the oil level covers the driven shaft, it will be partly up on that shaft, about a third up... KennyV
