Hi
Could anyone tell me if the B6100 engine has a thermostat? I noticed the radiator and screen in front of it had lots of plant fuzz on them.
On the same day I also changed the oil and filter. Later that day after cleaning the radiator I discovered the oil pressure light flickering while the engine was running at slow idle. I changed the sensor, but the light still comes on after a few minutes of warm up. There is no engine noise that I can discern and the light goes off when the engine rpm is increased. I don't have a temp gauge installed but the radiator seems a little warmer than before.
I used 15w40 diesel oil.
Thanks,
Sony

If it is like my B7100 it has no water pump or thermostat. It operates on a thermo siphon principle. There should be a tube on the filler neck that comes out below the radiator pressure cap. It should end up in a whistle. When overheated the whistle goes and steam comes out. I'll attach a very poor quality pic from the manual.
