Just joined after reading for a month. I have a early B5100D 4x4 manual trans. tractor and am wondering about my options for getting hydraulics for a B748 front mount snowblower. I have the diverter valve under the seat and I understand that if I use the aux,. port on this I can just use the 3 PH lever to raise the snowblower and then switch the diverter lever when I want to use the blade on the 3 PH. I also have the control valve that comes with the snowblower which gives me down-pressure if I use it. Can I get my hydraulic in pressure from the pressure tube at the 3 PH inlet and use the oil fill port for the return hose? I prefer this method so I will have down-pressure on the blower. Does the aux. port on the diverter valve get any pressure without operating the 3 PH lever? Sorry for so many questions my first time.

I do have the same little tractor as you but don't know have any direct answers to your questions. We don't need snowblowers for our tractors here in North East Oklahoma.

There is a good chance someone on this site will be able to help you. However if you don't get the answers you need. You could try and order a operators manual for you mini tractor from someone like tractorsmart. I do have a shop / repair manual for mine and it does not have any answers for you questions.

I would like to know what you find out and will be keeping any eye on you post. tractorsmart

I have a B5100E (2WD) and am also wondering about a hydraulic hookup. I don't have the diverter valve/switch under the seat, is this something I can get? I would like to use it for a front snowplow blade and possibly a FEL in the future.

I have a b6100 with a FEL. It gets hydraulic power right from the pump attached to the brake pedal side of the engine. The output of the pump goes to the FEL control which dumps from the PB port and heads back to the 3point hitch. It also has the diverter valve under the seat. I attached a diverter valve picture from the manual but it isn't very good.
