Been thinking about down sizing to a bx type tractor as I am getting a bit long in the tooth (76) and changing out implements while easy enough are hard on my old body.
Anyhow, contacted the selling dealer who said they did not want my tractor even though it has been upgraded and hasn’t had any problems in since 2015. Only 230 hours.
Checked with a green dealer and they would love to sell me the JD equivalents but would not trade for my 3350.
Both dealers said to sell on cL or Facebook.
Guess that means our 3350’s are not worth anything. Burns me that Kubota sold defective stuff that now has no value.
Thanks Kubota.......so much for your “quality”.

Did you ask these dealers WHY they don't want your tractor? They may have to give you so much trade in for your tractor that they know they won't be able to sell it at a profit. New tractors with cheap or no finance charge will usually outsell a used tractor which must be financed with a finance charge. You may not get what you feel it's worth trying to sell it outright for the same reason.

Yup, I asked and was told that because of dpf problems in the past that their management didn’t want any part of that model. To be sure, I could sell it on my own but I don’t have a shop to back me up in case the new owner doesn’t push the dpf auto button or needs to be trained.
It’s a shame because I take great care of my equipment. In fact just changed out the engine oil and filter as well changed out the hst fluid and two new filters.
Kind of sad, this was the fourth tractor I bought from this dealer. So much for being a loyal customer!
Oh, and just to confirm, I expected to get much less on a down size trade in. I figured I would loose about 5k over a normal wear and tear trade because of the bad reputation.

THe Kubota dealer should have at least made some type of offer. To not take in their own brand is pretty lame.
I would tell them if they have that little confidence in their own shop you have even less. Time to move on.

I saw quite a few 3350's getting unloaded over the past several years, on eBay and CL. Usually at a crazy high price, but I don't know if they actually sold at those prices.
The dealer may have confidence in their repair and upgrade of your machine, but it's still going to be a tough sell for them.

From a buyers perspective I would much rather hear from a seller that a machine had a problematic history that has been resolved, than to not be informed at all. Perhaps an honest private sale would work out for you and a buyer as well. To be clear, I am not suggesting that you would be anything less than honest, just that I wouldn't even consider looking at a B3350 that the seller didn't state outright that the model has had significant issues.

Have you considered negotiating a trade with a DIFFERENT Kubota dealer?

There are 71 B3350’s on TractorHouse this evening. There is 1 on auction, and current bid is $5500.00.

The other 3350’s range from $14,900 to around $40,000 for a HSTC TLB.

I have sold a BX25 on TractorHouse, and a B2620 tlb and B3200tlb on Craigslist.

BX25 went to WV.
B2620 went to OK or KS.
B3200 went to NC.

Sold all AS IS. With all their records.
They all sold for the amount of money I was seeking. Not necessarily the asking price.

The B3350’s are being replaced by Kubota with a new model. That is dealers problem, I would guess.

I don’t you would have much trouble selling your 3350.
With a time and patience.

Sandy, one reason I bought a B series was that it is easier to put implements on than my bx. I want to you think about this for a minute. Some of your b sized implements won't work on a bx and the bx is very, very tight around the 3 pt hitch. I honestly don't think you will enjoy any improvement. I have Pat's on my B that I moved from my L and it is very easy to change implements (that and the extendable arms). Try a quick hitch or Pat's before trading for a bx. Can't help you with the trade in value on the 3350.

Local dealer has a used ROPS model with FEL and 72" MMM priced at $18,900.

Obviously, they think it's worth something.

Sell it to Messicks. They swear the 3350 is just fine. They even made a video on the topic for the 3350. 😂
