I have a Kubota B3200 HST which I purchased in 2009 and now has 200 hours on it. When snowblowing recently for some reason my rear PTO stopped working, however, all hydraulics are functioning properly as is the transmission in that I can drive the tractor and use bucket and three point hitch. The shear pin on the snow blower is OK and I can turn the PTO by hand it is just that after depressing the clutch and putting the rear PTO gear to run, then releasing the clutch does not engage the PTO.

Is this something that any of you have experienced and what was the fix?

With tractor off and the PTO engaged, can you turn the output shaft by hand (even partially)? If so, that would suggest one of the internal gears is broke and no longer connecting the driveline to the output shaft. That can happen if the implement sends a shock load up the shaft into the PTO gearing, for instance if a shear pin didn't let go when it should have. Sometimes it also cracks the rear case where all the shaft and gear bearings are mounted.
