Price Check B2910 Pricing

Need some help - looking at buying a 2003 160 hour B2910 with FEL, 72"" MMM and rear blade and need some pricing help. Thoughts? Thank You!

Don't think so but you never know. Gentleman is asking $15,500. Talked to him and he seemed genuine - have not gone to see the tractor yet but based on the pictures in CL post (which I know can be another read flag) as well as his general understanding - the tractor was bought at Messicks etc - everythings seems OK. He is the only owner and just didn't use it a whole lot from what he says.

I am purchasing my first tractor - been reading this site like crazy - it has been a lot of help (though to be honest my head is still spinning a bit)!

Just at first blush, you are extremely close to new pricing on that Kubota. With zero financing and warranty? Hmmm.... I'd give that some serious and sober thought. Buying used, no warranty, gotta get a deal, especially in this economy.

Just for grins, ask Messick what he'd sell you the B2620 for. Haven't priced either the 26 or 29, but know what a B2320, FEL and R4s can be bought for. (hint: less than that $15500)

I'm going to have to agree you should get a couple quotes on new tractors if you are considering buying that used 2910. Granted, the hours on it are minimal...... and the 2910 was the premium B series, but its now 7 (almost 8) years old. You are too close to new B series pricing and when you add in a warranty and zero percent financing, I feel you aren't doing that well on your used tractor purchase. Opinions are like bellybuttons, and my opinion is that I'd be more excited about that tractor if we were starting closer to 13,500. Call Messicks and price a new 2630.

The 2910 is a sweet ride, but 15.5 is high! Offer him 10 grand cash, you never know, he may take it?

Thanks for all the input! Will let you know if the seller and I can find a mutually agreeable price. If nothing else, this will give me a better idea for private sale pricing (actual vs asking) in my area for future prospects. Been visiting the major brand dealers as well and may still buy new, but if I can find a low hour, gently used tractor, I am not adverse to that option. I keep telling myself I am in no rush...but you know how that goes!
