We added mods to my B2650 today to help protect the underside as much as possible since we are in extreme conditions (Post Hurricane Michael Cleanup)

I don't normally talk on videos so excuse my shaky voice and flubs

Sandra, thanks for posting this. I haven't seen anything to protect those filters on my B2650 until now. I'm in the process of ordering the guards now. I use my tractor in the bush at our camp and these guards are just what I need.

We have other mods planned for our implements soon. One is a heavy gauge expanded metal back plate for each of our grapples (WR Long).

The plastic grill on the B2650 got busted very quickly during our cleanup. Hubby has an L4060 with a metal grill but it also is beat to smitherenes. Sooooooooo both grapples need expanded metal on the back side to protect the tractor grills.

I will likely make videos of it whenever we do them.

I love all of these ideas for mods. Keep sharing mod idea guys!

This works well to protect the grill on my 2650.

Using a smaller BX2200 I found the stock bucket smaller than desirable for snow removal. If it is gravel or sand the stock bucket is big enough and is all that the little machine can handle anyway but for snow, bigger is better. I cannot find the post where i detailed this with pictures previously but ...

I located an old used bucket about 50% larger than the stock bucket, took it to a welding shop and had the mounting holes added so it would fit my Kubota FEL. That way I have 2 buckets easily changed back and forth, one much larger for snow removal -- also good for moving lighter debris, etc. I would think one could do a similar thing with any model like a B2650.

Love the grill protection GRTkub! That is sweet!

I had one other strange issue during cleanup that I forgot to mention. A stick/small limb kicked up under my tractor and broke the Fan Belt.... which of course was not in stock. So we had to find a belt that was close to the same dimensions. It worked but what a pain.

If the belt gets broke again I will be looking for a solution to protecting the fan belt. Any ideas?

I have been searching but I can't seem to find anything relating to protecting the fan belt, other than the Bro-Tek skid plates for other models. My tractor is in the barn up at my camp right now and we won't be getting back there until after our annual April vacation in Florida. When we're back I'll take a look underneath and see if I can come up with any ideas. Maybe someone else will chime in with possible solutions in the meantime. There are a lot of smart people on this forum.

That looks almost identical to what I did to my bucket. I also added a couple of hooks and a bolt on cutting edge made for the B26.
