My dealer told me yes, but if i had grades to mow I might fair better with the 3030. I chose the 3030 because of that and it was not much more expensive. I think ultimately it will be up to you. I think it can handle it but there maybe times you have to take it slower with the smaller rig. Don't worry, I love my 3030 now but I worried for 6mo that I got too small of a tractor. But now I almost wish I would not have got the rears filled. It is an advantage having a light tractor, especially in the spring when your neighbors are rutting up their yards with the 3k+ lbs lawn mowers.
